We have a brand-new opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician to join our UK Technical Centre in Crowborough, East Sussex. The successful candidate will support our Clean Room and Analysers manufacturing facilities, assisting the existing Manufacturing Engineering (ME) team in carrying out Risk Assessments and providing hands-on support for maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. This is a great role for someone to develop their career within a manufacturing environment with potential opportunities for further study (HND).
About the Opportunity:
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Conduct safety checks and assist in PUWER assessments under supervision of Maintenance/Manufacturing Engineers.
- Replace wear parts and maintain spare part inventory.
- Support equipment installations and commissioning activities.
- Train operators in basic maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
- Contribute to Kaizen activities by identifying and implementing small-scale, practical improvements.
About your Talent:
- ONC or equivalent in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Basic understanding of TPM principles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Basic electrical safety knowledge.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics is preferred.
- Experience in clean-room or controlled manufacturing environments advantageous.

Salary: up to £30,000 – This salary represents a general guideline; Servomex considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
