We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering to join our team supporting an onshore land substation package. This is a long-term contract role embedded within the package management team for a major infrastructure project.
- Civil engineering background or demonstrable experience within civil infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience on onshore substation or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong working knowledge of quality management systems and processes.
- Act as the key interface for contractor Quality Assurance (QA) within the work package.
- Review and provide feedback on contractor deliverables in line with the project quality requirements.
- Implement the project Quality Plan within the scope of the substation civils package.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with QA procedures.
- Conduct and support quality audits.
- Manage and coordinate Quality Control (QC) resources to support scope execution.
- Report regularly to the Project QA Manager on quality metrics, risks, and issues.
