We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering to join our team supporting an onshore land substation package. This is a long-term contract role embedded within the package management team for a major infrastructure project.

  • Civil engineering background or demonstrable experience within civil infrastructure projects.
  • Prior experience on onshore substation or major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of quality management systems and processes.
  • Act as the key interface for contractor Quality Assurance (QA) within the work package.
  • Review and provide feedback on contractor deliverables in line with the project quality requirements.
  • Implement the project Quality Plan within the scope of the substation civils package.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with QA procedures.
  • Conduct and support quality audits.
  • Manage and coordinate Quality Control (QC) resources to support scope execution.
  • Report regularly to the Project QA Manager on quality metrics, risks, and issues.
