One of the UK’s top property and construction consultancies is currently recruiting for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in central Birmingham. With a strong nationwide presence and international reach, this consultancy is involved in some of Birmingham’s most high-profile developments, including large-scale residential projects, commercial fit-outs, and mixed-use schemes. Known for their dynamic culture and collaborative approach, they offer a fantastic opportunity to work alongside some of the region’s leading professionals.
They are looking to bring in an ambitious and driven Quantity Surveyor who can take ownership of their own projects and provide full pre- and post-contract commercial services. The successful candidate will work with blue-chip clients across a diverse portfolio including Residential, Commercial, Leisure, and Mixed-Use projects, ranging in value from £1m to £100m. You will be supported by a knowledgeable team and provided with a structured pathway to Senior and Associate level roles as the business continues to grow.
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will:
- Hold a relevant Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent
- Have experience working within a consultancy or client-side environment
- Have strong experience delivering projects across the property/building sectors
- Be confident in handling projects from inception to completion
- Possess strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ideally be working toward APC or already chartered (MRICS)
