The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer on a long term contract basis, who will plan and undertake the project workload and allocate specific tasks to other appointed individual personnel associated with the project in conjunction with directions from the Senior Project Manager.
Key Duties:
- Provide support to ensure the effective delivery of activities in the programme to required safety, quality, time and cost targets, while recognising and managing the impacts of the programme on the wider Project.
- Build strong relationships to ensure project success.
- Provide engineering and management resource to direct, supervise and support all project related operations.
- Plan, develop and implement all activities associated with the efficient and profitable running of the assigned Projects.
- Maintain close contact with existing customers and assist the Senior Project Manager in the development of new customers as required to maintain suitable workload.
Skills/Experience:
- Educated to ONC level (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering (Piped Systems, HVAC, Drainage Heating & Cooling) working towards HNC (Preferred).
- Have experience working alongside the QA team to ensure quality compliance including all records, audits and process.
- Mechanical installation management experience including management of specialist service packages such as BMS, Ductwork, VAV and DX type systems.
- Working towards Professional Qualification in Project Management such as APM PMQ or other recognised qualification.
- Track record of delivering projects in complex environments, from concept to handover, within a technically complex and dynamic environment.
- Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
