Role & Responsibilities:
- To ensure all of our guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay with us - we aim to provide an unforgettable experience.
- To ensure all complaints are minimised and handled professionally in accordance with our policies.
- To supervise & manage the Restaurant team in line with company policies and manuals.
- Work with the head chef and restaurant manager to maximise sales performance and achieve sales in line with targets.
- Ensure effective control of stock and staff costs.
- To follow all hotel policies as outlined in your training manual.
- Ensure service of food and drinks is done quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards.
- Ensure your team are trained and effective in their roles.
- Ensure menu training is carried out as per release of new menus.
- Ensure that relevant admin is carried out within the department to meet business needs.
- Ensure that you are employing relevant staff for the department and following correct recruitment and induction procedures.
- Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
- Make guests aware of offers on our great food and drink range.
- To assist in any function or events set ups in accordance with procedures.
- To maintain exemplary billing systems and obtain all payments from guests in accordance with company policy, and the accurate accounting and processing of all reception sales.
- To observe and comply with cleaning rotas, health and safety, food and hygiene regulations.
- To ensure service meets the standards to maintain and achieve relevant awards.
- Ensure high standards of financial and reporting diligence in accordance with company policy.
- To ensure good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
- To understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control and Emergency Aid.
- All other duties as required.
