One of the UK’s top property and construction consultancies is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in central Birmingham.

With a strong national presence and international reach, this consultancy is involved in some of Birmingham’s most high-profile and complex developments, including large-scale residential schemes, commercial fit-outs, and mixed-use projects. They have a reputation for delivering high-quality work, fostering long-term client relationships, and offering clear career progression within a supportive environment.

They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is confident leading projects and providing high-level commercial support from pre-contract to final account. The successful candidate will work with major clients across sectors such as residential, commercial, leisure, and mixed-use, managing projects ranging from £1 million up to £100 million in value.

You will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, take on client leadership responsibilities, and contribute to the development of the Birmingham office.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Have substantial experience in a consultancy or client-side environment
  • Be chartered (MRICS) or working toward it with significant progress
  • Have a track record of delivering projects from inception through to completion
  • Be confident managing client relationships and leading project teams
  • Demonstrate strong commercial and contract knowledge across JCT and/or NEC
