Job Summary
We are looking for vigilant and responsible Waking Watch Security Officers to ensure fire safety in residential and commercial buildings. This role involves routine patrols, identifying fire hazards, and responding quickly and effectively in emergencies to protect lives and property.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify fire hazards, safety risks, and suspicious activity
- Maintain high levels of alertness to detect early signs of fire or security threats
- Assist with the safe evacuation of residents or occupants during emergencies
- Communicate clearly and calmly in high-pressure situations
- Keep accurate records of patrols, incidents, and safety concerns
- Liaise with emergency services and building management as required
- Ensure full compliance with fire safety regulations and report any violations
- Foster a secure and supportive environment for all building occupants
Requirements
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license – Essential
- Strong observational skills with a proactive mindset
- Ability to stay calm and act decisively under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physically fit and capable of conducting regular patrols
