The basics:

  • Location: Hybrid - UK projects can be based near to Durham, Derby, Chelmsford.
  • Travel: 2/3 days onsite at the project/when the installation/project is live.
  • Package: up to £70,000 + £6000 car allowance DOE
  • Expenses: Travel and expenses paid
  • Structure: Reporting to the UK PM. Dependent on experience this could be a lead role/leading a team of 2/3 people. For less experienced people this would be part of the team.
  • Example projects: Machinery procurement, installation and commissioning - 0.5 million to £5 million.
  • Holidays and Benefits: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, After every 5 years' service an extra day holiday up to a max of 4 days. Pension - employer pays up to 3%. Yearly pay reviews.

Overview:

Working for a first class precision engineering and fabrication business, we now require a Capital Projects Manager to join the team.

You will be tasked to plan and organise projects throughout the various manufacturing facilities that host CNC machining and Fabrication.

The ideal candidate may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Previous experience and knowledge of CNC Machine tools
  • Previously managed machinery installations
  • Degree educated
