Job Role

Due to continued growth and increasing project demand, there is an opening for a Building Surveyor to join the Cardiff team. This role combines both professional services and project delivery across multiple sectors.

What you'll be doing:

  • Conducting condition surveys, defect analysis, and planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Leading refurbishment projects from concept through to completion, including project management and contract administration.
  • Managing projects valued up to £2m under NEC and JCT contracts.
  • Working across a variety of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Defence, Custodial, and Public Sector.
  • Operating independently, while staying connected with a wider collaborative team.

Requirements

  • MRICS Chartership
  • Proven project delivery experience and ability to manage responsibilities independently.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, and Excel (Microsoft Project and Revit experience desirable).
  • A practical, professional approach with a strong focus on quality and service.
