We seek a highly skilled and motivated Residential Conveyancing Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. As a key member of our firm, you will provide comprehensive support in all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions. Your attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in managing residential conveyancing transactions from start to finish, ensuring all legal requirements and deadlines are met.
- Conducting thorough research and due diligence on properties, such as title searches, zoning regulations, and land registry records.
- Preparing and reviewing legal documentation, including contracts, agreements, and deeds.
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth communication and coordination.
- Managing and maintaining accurate records, files, and databases related to conveyancing transactions.
- Coordinating property inspections, surveys, and valuations as required.
- Assisting with preparing completion statements, financial calculations, and billing.
- Assisting with post-completion matters, such as land registration, stamp duty payments, and property transfers.
