Due to development and career advancement, we are looking for a proactive and detail orientated Service Spares Inventory Controller to join our team in Coalville. In this role, you will play an important part in managing and optimizing our service spares inventory, ensuring an efficient operation and a high level of customer satisfaction. As part of the team, you will be responsible for the resolution and escalation of queries regarding availability, non-delivery and exceptional usage of parts.

What we ask:
- Manage engineer car-stock levels and satellite stores to ensure that the servicing levels set are met.
- Process and progress spare parts orders to and from third party suppliers.
- Monitor regular replenishments, RTF (return to fit) orders and urgent orders regarding frequency, timeliness and completeness.
- Resolve and escalate queries regarding availability, non-delivery, communicating with internal stakeholders.
- Follow up missing shipments, wrong shipments and missing parts internally and externally.
- Facilitate stock taking, correct stock differences, record and results.
- Manage and process the return of good and repairable stock from the field.
- Troubleshoot parts orders and take steps to prevent re-occurrence of issues.

The successful applicant will ideally have previous Spares/Parts and logistics support experience from an engineering, manufacturing, or technology background. However, we are also keen to hear from candidates who have gained strong customer service skills from an internal or external administrative role, who can transfer their skill set into a busy Spares department.
