Position: Geo-Environmental Engineer Location: Sheffield Salary: £32-35k This is an opportunity to become a part of one of the largest independent engineering consultancies in the North of England. They\’re on the lookout for an experienced Geo-Environmental Engineer to join the team. This role is based in the Sheffield office and offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive multidisciplinary environment and build upon your current experience. The Geo-Environmental team has been highly successful in the last few years and is looking to grow even further with a strong pipeline of work already underway for 2025. Key Geo-Environmental Engineer responsibilities: Conducting and overseeing site investigations using a range of techniques. Writing essential reports to a high standard. Engaging directly with clients to agree on site access and manage expectations. Safely managing site operations and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Demonstrating strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues promptly on site.Current projects span lots of sectors, offering diverse experiences from carbon capture pipelines to photovoltaic (PV) farms. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative and impactful projects that contribute to sustainable development.
