Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Immigration Caseworker with impeccable written and spoken English to join our team. This role is critical to supporting our immigration services, ensuring that client matters are handled efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting client consultations, assessing case eligibility, and recording detailed and accurate notes for future reference.
- Drafting and reviewing all necessary case-related documents, including but not limited to Client Care Letters (CCLs), legal representations, application forms, and supporting statements.
- Managing all client communications, ensuring prompt and professional responses, providing regular case updates, and addressing queries efficiently.
- Maintaining and organising client files, ensuring all documentation, case records, and compliance requirements are up to date and accurately stored.
- Liaising with clients, third parties, and relevant authorities to gather, verify, and submit all necessary information and supporting documents.
- Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating the submission of immigration applications, ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements.
- Performing all administrative and case management tasks related to immigration matters, including tracking deadlines, monitoring case progress, and ensuring adherence to professional and ethical standards.
- Carrying out any other related duties required for the effective handling and completion of immigration cases.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- UK Law Degree (mandatory).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in PRIVATE immigration casework (mandatory), including but not limited to Student visas, EUSS applications, Marriage/Unmarried Partner visas, Fiancé(e) visas, Skilled Worker visas, Expansion Worker visas, Graduate visas, Charity Worker visas, Global Talent visas, and Naturalisation applications.
- Fluent written and spoken English (native or near-native level).
- Highly self-driven, eager to learn, and thrives on challenges, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous professional development.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in case preparation and compliance with immigration regulations.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads, and manage multiple cases effectively without constant supervision.
- Proficiency in case management systems, CRMs, and office software (e.g., Gmail, Google Docs, Pipedrive, Slack, etc.), with the ability to adapt to new technology and workflows efficiently.
Desirable:
- Proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese (bonus).
- Immigration related accreditations and certifications.
- Experience in managing UK immigration cases from start to finish.
