This key role is to provide efficient HR to ensure there is a seamless transition from job offer to HR ensuring that both employees and the business receive efficient and professional services. This is a permanent onsite role involving providing professional and timely services to both employees and the business, as well as creating a supportive environment.
A day in this role looks like…. As a HR Administrator at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Central Services. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence. A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:
- Provide full generalist people support for teams across.
- Input all people change information into the HR systems in readiness to support payroll cut off dates and to produce employee change letters resulting from such changes.
- Update employee data by undertaking work on personnel files, sickness records, employee relations etc.
- Support the employees with regular checks on Right to Work enquiries, DBS and issues where needed.
- Work with HR Manager and HR team to complete templates for restructuring and TUPE transfers.
- Implementing and administering human resources policies and procedures.
- Handling complaints and disciplinary procedures for the company.
- Organize and maintain employees' personnel records.
- Provide regular updates to the Business, keeping line managers informed of any delays with HR.
- Ensure compliance against agreed time limits and processes with regards to HR to support payroll cut off dates.
- Respond to queries from employees and managers ensuring that the HR shared mailbox is managed effectively.
- Undertake specific ad hoc project work as required by the HR Manager.
- Create/produce regular reports for monitoring and management purposes from these systems as well as various monthly reports.
- Take responsibility for your own learning and development.
