Ackerman Pierce are proud to be an approved Tuition Partner for local authorities, supplying tutors and SEND specialists for children waiting for school placements or SEND settings.

We are currently seeking a tutor to start with a child EYFS with SEND, 5 mornings per week in school term time.

We are looking for a tutor who is:

  • Available during school hours: 15 hours per week / AM
  • Experienced in delivering EYFS provision
  • Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
  • Exceptional behaviour management strategies
  • Prepared to work face to face within the community

This will be continuous and until the student is placed within a suitable school, when we will then set you up ready for your next student.

Requirements:

  • Background supporting CYP with additional needs - EYFS
  • QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years experience teaching
  • Two years of teaching in a UK school to SEND pupils
  • Experience working with ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.
