Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be hiring a Property Accountant for a fantastic practice based just outside of the Birmingham City Centre. This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to hit the ground running and take on the Property Accountant role confidently.
The Candidates responsibilities:
- Review and supervise team members.
- Preparation of Service Charge Accounts for a variety of managing agents and individual residential management companies.
- Client management.
- Reconciliation of accounts and cashbooks.
- Year-end expenditure reports.
- Ensuring accurate accounts are produced and submitted to Companies House on time.
- Ad hoc duties within the team that align with the role.
Skills Needed:
- Experience within a similar role in practice is critical.
- General MS, IT and email/internet knowledge is essential.
- Exceptional communication skills are necessary as communicating with clients and colleagues is a key part of the role.
- An excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a high degree of numeracy and literacy are key.
- The candidate would need to be a team player with a professional approach when dealing with overseeing a team.
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Xero and more.
