A UK market leader based in the Preston area is looking for a lead generator to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. A professional and forward-thinking company, this business is committed to providing an open and positive culture that puts people first.

Your role as Lead Generator:

  • Working within a tight-knit team, you will be providing support to the sales team in a busy, friendly and professional environment.
  • You will be identifying new and improving existing opportunities for the sales team through online research and the business CRM system.

Key Tasks:

  • Outbound calling to identify new customers and clarify information.
  • Researching and adding new companies to the database.
  • Researching and updating existing customers on the database.
  • Checking incoming leads and making sure they are assigned correctly.
  • Processing lost-customer data.
  • Archiving and reclassifying records.

Skills required to be a successful lead generator:

  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Confident and approachable.
  • Confident IT user.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Previous lead generation experience would be advantageous.

Benefits Package:

  • Salary - £23,015.
  • Bonus of £1,800 OTE.
  • Annual leave - 22 days per year holiday rising to 25 after qualifying time period (plus Bank Holidays).
  • Contracted hours - Mon to Thur 8.15 - 16.15, Friday 8.15 - 15.15.
  • Subsidised Canteen.
