Our Business department are excited to announce that we are looking for a team member to join as a Lecturer in Business and Law. The Role
Macclesfield College has an innovative vision in delivering high quality education to a wide range of learners. Programmes offered include a comprehensive range of vocational and academic programs. You will be joining a committed team of practitioners within a curriculum area that benefits from large student numbers. The team are committed and driven to ensure the best experiences are given to the learners through innovative teaching and learning in a well-resourced College.
The post will involve the marketing, delivery and assessment of a range of courses across the Business and Law provision and you will be required to deliver across BTEC and A-Level subject areas.
Main Duties for this role include:
- Plan teaching, learning and assessment for college programmes using the appropriate college format to ensure effective learning.
- Deliver teaching and learning to at least a consistently good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
- Accurately assess learners work both formatively and summative against appropriate awarding body criteria to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.
- Comply with all College quality assurance procedures as prescribed by the Deputy Principal to ensure the achievement of all internal and external audits.
- Use all appropriate resources effectively to ensure that the learners experience results in positive learning outcomes and high professional standards.
