Role Description:
The Active Fire Operations Manager is a full-time on-site role located in Chigwell. The role involves managing day-to-day operations related to fire safety, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Responsibilities include overseeing a team of engineers, coordinating with clients, and ensuring the successful implementation of fire safety strategies. The manager will also be responsible for conducting regular inspections, managing emergency response protocols, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
Skills:
- Leading contracts up to £5m+
- Achievement of IOSH Leading Safely (or appropriate equivalent)
- Exceed budget on multiple contracts
- Managed a team of Senior Ops colleagues
- Achieved KPIs on multiple contracts
- Ensured compliance on all mandatory training across function
- Demonstrable experience of developing business
Qualifications:
- Experience in fire safety management and fire compliance
- Ability to oversee and lead a team of engineers
- Proficiency in coordinating with clients and implementing fire safety strategies
- Skills in conducting inspections and managing emergency response protocols
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
