We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our growing team and contribute to our success.
As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be a key player in our BI team, supporting business functions including Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, Property & Retail. You will work primarily with Finance & Commercial stakeholders, leveraging data to drive business improvements and provide actionable insights.
You will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills, experience with a BI tool (Metabase preferred but not required), and a solid understanding of business processes and problem-solving through data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop BI solutions, ensuring they provide actionable insights for data-driven decision-making.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into reports and dashboards.
- Develop high-quality, accurate, and timely reports and dashboards using SQL and Metabase.
- Work with large and complex datasets, ensuring efficient processing and usability.
- Convert business problems into analytical solutions by leveraging data insights.
- Utilize JIRA to manage workload and track project progress.
- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize BI solutions.
Must-Have:
- 3+ years of experience in a BI development role.
- Strong SQL expertise (daily usage expected).
- Experience with any BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Metabase).
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to define and address business questions.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
