Event Sales Executive Responsibilities:
- Pursue and maximise every opportunity by identifying and reaching out to senior decision-makers
- Build a healthy sales pipeline by developing meaningful and lasting relationships with potential customers
- Maintain regular contact with a portfolio of clients to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Encourage and close sales by engaging potential clients and promoting upcoming events
- Enhance brand awareness by attending networking and trade events and promoting the company's offering
- Own the entire sales cycle, which includes updating the CRM with sales activity
Event Sales Executive Skills and Experience:
- Previous sales and business development experience is essential
- Proactive and driven, able to drive new business and develop a healthy sales pipeline
- Professional and engaging telephone manner, confident in making high-volume calls to potential customers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident liaising at all levels and fostering trusting relationships
