We're looking for a driven, personable, and results-focused Business Development Executive to join our growing team within the construction recruitment space. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, supportive, and ambitious business that is thriving in the current market.
Working alongside our Labour Managers and Divisional Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing strong client partnerships and expanding our footprint across the Northwest region.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Building Relationships: Develop and nurture long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients, becoming a trusted partner for their recruitment needs.
- Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential clients within the construction sector to grow our client base.
- Multi-Channel Outreach: Manage and execute outreach strategies across various platforms - calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings.
- Client Meetings: Attend face-to-face meetings with clients in and around Manchester to understand their business needs and offer tailored recruitment solutions.
- Industry Events: Represent the business at construction and recruitment events, networking to raise brand awareness and build strong industry connections.
- Terms of Business: Negotiate and agree new terms of business to secure long-term partnerships.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in a business development, sales, or client-facing role - recruitment or construction sector experience is a bonus.
- Confident communicator who thrives in a relationship-driven environment.
- Self-motivated with a hunger to succeed and hit targets.
- Able to manage time effectively and juggle a range of priorities.
- A good understanding of the construction sector (or a willingness to learn fast).
- Full UK driving licence - this is a field-based role with frequent travel in the region.
