Content Operations: Metadata Coordinator

Job Purpose

Providing administrative content delivery support for the Content Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all metadata and ancillary documents received from production companies are inputted to the in-house MaM system (or alternative location) accurately and within required timelines.
• Migrate legacy metadata into in-house MaM.
• Preparation of all required video metadata for content deliveries to digital platforms including but not limited to Amazon Prime, Roku, Pluto, Tubi, YouTube, Meta and FAST.
• Preparation of artwork metadata, including but not limited to the creation of episodic screenshots.
• Ensure metadata and artwork meet all specification needs of each platform.
• Provide support with any needed video file preparation including closed captioning and ad insert points.
• Assist with quality checks of video content and update all necessary documentation / systems as required.
• Coordinate and deliver content packages to each platform via existing delivery workflows.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic understanding of television content distribution and its workflows.
• Sound digital and social media platform knowledge.
• Ability to complete recurring and similar tasks with attention and care.
• Excellent time keeping with track record of completing tasks within given timeframes.
• Proficient computer literate skills, with good experience of both office software packages (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fast learner and keen to learn.
• Tech-savvy / digital native.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Contract Type Permanent, full-time

Hours 9:30am - 6pm
