Are you ready to lead and shape the future of energy law in one of the world’s most dynamic markets? We are working with a leading national law firm that is looking to hire an Energy Partner to drive the growth of its London practice, with a particular focus on the renewables sector.
As part of the firm’s strategic investment into its London platform, this is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious and entrepreneurial partner (or senior lawyer with a following) to build and lead a forward-thinking energy practice in the heart of the City.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development and execution of the firm’s energy practice in London, with a focus on renewables and clean energy.
- Advise a diverse range of clients, including developers, funders, utilities, corporates, and government bodies.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the national network to deliver seamless, multi-disciplinary legal support on major projects.
- Drive business development efforts, leveraging the firm’s existing client base while also expanding market presence in London and internationally.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of associates and junior lawyers to support long-term practice growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified solicitor with extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly within renewable and clean energy projects.
- Existing partner or senior-level lawyer looking to make the step up, ideally with a modest portable book of business or demonstrable client relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen and a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience working on complex energy transactions, regulatory matters, and/or infrastructure projects (UK or international).
- Passion for sustainability, innovation, and building lasting client relationships.
