We’re seeking Strategic Client Leads to join our Generation Services team. This key role focuses on identifying, negotiating, and executing structured Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to secure exported power, Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs), and Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs) from renewable and embedded generators with capacities ranging from 5-50 MW. The position is home-based, with some national travel required (car allowance provided) and occasional visits to a designated office location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs), Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs), and other related services.
  • Drive revenue growth by achieving or surpassing gross margin targets, especially with embedded generation assets ranging from 5-50 MW across the UK.
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with generators, project developers, aggregators, brokers, and corporate off-takers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams in Commercial, Pricing, Operations, and Legal to create competitive commercial offers.
  • Work alongside supply-side sales teams to identify potential cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Stay informed on market trends, policy changes, and competitor activities to strengthen our position in the market.
  • Contribute to the creation of new products and services to enhance market penetration and revenue generation.

What We’re Looking for in You:

  • A strong understanding of the UK energy market, especially in the development, negotiation, and execution of complex products, contracts, and financial tools within the Generation Services sector.
  • An established network within the UK embedded and renewable generation industry.
  • Expertise in contract structures, pricing mechanisms, and risk management strategies related to PPAs.
  • In-depth knowledge of the competitive landscape within the Generation Services market and the ability to leverage this information effectively.
  • A valid UK driving license.
