We are seeking a proactive and motivated Talent Partner to join our exciting new team at Connect2Hackney. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing excellent service. As part of this role, you will be an advocate for the Connect2Hackney brand, helping to maintain strong relationships with Hackney Council and our stakeholders. You will develop an understanding of their needs, delivering top-tier customer service through flexible recruitment and people solutions. This is a key position, involving close collaboration with Hackney Council’s hiring community, managing recruitment processes, and supporting our candidate pool.
Key Duties:
- Relationship Building: Build rapport and develop relationships with Hackney Council’s hiring community. Get to know them, understand their vision, and workforce planning needs through regular communication (telephone, video conferencing, and in person).
- Recruitment Support: Liaise with hiring managers to discuss their agency, contract, interim, and hard-to-fill recruitment needs. Address challenges, review job descriptions, and work collaboratively to ensure recruitment success.
- Candidate Sourcing & Selection: Source and manage candidates to meet Hackney Council’s recruitment needs. This includes advertising, search and selection, onboarding (interviews), and conducting initial quality checks.
- CV Management: Review CVs received, upload qualified candidates to the Client Portal, and arrange interviews where necessary. Ensure all candidates meet the expectations of the hiring managers.
- Compliance & Onboarding: Ensure all candidates meet legal and contractual compliance before placement. Provide workers with details for the pay and bill system and access to the Candidate Portal.
- Candidate Aftercare: Maintain communication with placed workers to ensure timesheet accuracy, timely payments, and continued support throughout their assignments.
- System Management: Support the team with CRM searches and reporting, ensuring systems are updated and accurate. Help in the training of the Client, Agency, and Candidate Portals for a smooth user experience.
- Talent Pool & Retention: Build and maintain a candidate talent pool, ensuring Connect2Hackney is the go-to agency for the local workforce. Retain workers within Hackney Council through regular feedback and support.
- Customer Support: Handle first-line customer queries and complaints, escalating to the appropriate management as needed. Assist in coaching and training other customer service and resourcing personnel.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Participate in candidate engagement activities and promote the Connect2Hackney brand. Provide support on out-of-hours emergency shift requirements as part of a rota system.
What We Need From You:
- Previous administrative experience supporting teams.
- Experience in a recruitment agency or agency managed service environment.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills across various platforms (phone, in person, written).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Resourcing experience and job advert writing would be a huge bonus.
