Driver Hire Edinburgh West are currently recruiting for dedicated Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established steel processing company located just outside Edinburgh. This position is ideal for candidates who demonstrate reliability and are looking for a long-term role. This is a temp to perm position, whereby you will complete the first 12 weeks through Driver Hire before transferring over to our clients' books permanently. Immediate starts available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing stock and material handling tasks.
- Adhering to strict health and safety procedures.
- Operating overhead cranes.
- Operating forklifts.
- Working with CNC machinery.
- Other general warehouse duties.
Shift Details:
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday. A weekly rotation of working dayshift and backshift. Dayshift: 6am - 2:30pm. Backshift: 2:30pm - 11pm.
Rate of Pay (PAYE with holidays accrued): £14.42p/h.
To be successful in this role, we ask that applicants:
- Have previous warehouse experience - essential.
- Own transport essential due to the location of the client.
- Previous experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts and CNC machinery is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
