PE Global is recruiting a Procurement Professional for our client based in Birchwood, Warrington. The role is an initial 12-month contract and is hybrid with 3 days a week onsite, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The rate range for this role is £21.22 - £28.80 p/h.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting delivery of a lean, responsive, and resilient material and services flow for the facility from source to dock and additional required points.
- Recognizing the potential for cost and inventory reductions, and quality improvement, as well as responsibility for soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.
- Operating and monitoring the supply network procurement functions to meet the defined response time, cost, quality, and lean targets enabling optimal and efficient facility operations.
- Collaborating with business partners and suppliers and resolving facility specific supplier issues.
Requirements:
- 2+ years purchasing experience, open to any industry.
- SAP Hana S4 experience would be desirable as it has recently been implemented. Internal systems will have full training provided.
- Microsoft 365 package use, excel experience, pivot tables formulas. Needs to be comfortable operating excel.
- PowerPoint is used for presentations.
- Any exposure to workday would also be beneficial.
