As we continue to expand, we are seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Virtual and Hybrid Event Producers to join our dynamic team and help lead the production of world-class virtual and hybrid events.

Full-time permanent, contract or part-time candidates will be considered, dependent on experience.

Position Overview

As a Senior Virtual and Hybrid Event Producer, you will oversee the seamless planning, execution and delivery of virtual and hybrid events for a diverse range of clients across various industries. With a wealth of experience in event production and an international background, you will bring strategic thinking, creativity and technical expertise to the role. This position requires exceptional project management skills, the ability to collaborate across teams, and a deep understanding of emerging event technologies and trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand event goals, objectives, and target audiences. Develop comprehensive event strategies, ensuring a perfect blend of virtual and in-person elements for hybrid events. Design event timelines, workflows, and budgets, ensuring timely and on-budget execution.
  • Production Management: Oversee all aspects of virtual and hybrid event production, including content creation, platform selection, and technical setup. Lead the coordination of virtual event platforms, AV vendors, presenters, and speakers across multiple time zones. Ensure all technical components (e.g., streaming, interactive features, breakout rooms) function smoothly before, during, and after events. Provide technical troubleshooting and real-time problem-solving for virtual and hybrid platforms.
  • International Event Execution: Manage global teams and vendors to execute events across different regions, cultures, and time zones. Tailor event strategies to diverse international markets, understanding regional differences and nuances. Ensure effective communication with stakeholders across multiple regions, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of event producers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed for success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, content, and client services, to deliver cohesive event experiences. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and clients.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends, including new event technologies, platforms, and production techniques. Propose innovative solutions to enhance attendee engagement, interaction, and overall event experience. Continuously evaluate the success of virtual and hybrid events, providing post-event analysis and recommendations for future improvement.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning, production, and execution phases. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality events that meet their expectations. Provide strategic guidance to clients on virtual and hybrid event best practices and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in event production, with a focus on virtual and hybrid events. Proven experience managing large-scale international events with multiple stakeholders and complex logistics. Strong portfolio of successful virtual and hybrid events, showcasing a wide range of industries and event types.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in virtual event platforms and hybrid event production tools. Familiar with audiovisual equipment, live streaming, content management systems, and interactive event tools. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues in real time, ensuring smooth event execution.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and guiding junior producers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients, team members, and vendors.
  • Cultural Competence: Extensive experience working with international teams and managing cross-cultural communication. Ability to adapt events to fit different cultural contexts and regional preferences.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events simultaneously. A keen eye for detail, ensuring every element of the event runs flawlessly. Ability to creatively solve problems and adapt to changing requirements. Knowledge of emerging trends in virtual and hybrid event technologies, including AR/VR, gamification, and AI. Second European language ideal, but not obligatory (French, German, Spanish).
