We are currently seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer , to join our Network Practice; within our team in our hospitality client. This is a hybrid position but you will be required to attend the office 2/3 days a week, based in the Dunstable What you’ll be doing: Site migrations Tues to Thurs, supporting the team on them remotely mainly Working on various projects in the background too Working with the Opticore NOC team as we monitor the outlets for the client CAB Calls Incident Response Support rota for L3- escalation, high level monitoring, SNOW, incident response, attending CAB calls, Support escalations, handling issues and incidents coming from the NOC or other groups in the business, examples: troubleshooting x-scaler issue, effecting z-scaler traffic across all sitesloss via Manchester pop to Akama Supporting third-party site migrations remotely usually looking at issues with ClearPass, Aruba Central switch templates, Aruba IAP issues Helping plan changes in, from upgrades to more complex changes, such as reclassifying traffic across the SD-WAN fabric What you’ll bring: Excellent knowledge of Aruba, Routing and Switching Operating at a CCNA/P level Experience with a ticketing system Some firewall knowledge Logical thinking, initiative, super organized Stakeholder management What you’ll gain: Here at OpticoreIT, we believe in investing in our team as we understand that we are only as great as our engineers, so learning and development are a big deal for us.
