We\’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to manage and coordinate all aspects of our department and team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient achievement of production targets, maintaining excellent standards of Health & Safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Health & Safety Management: Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety protocols using the Assure H&S management system. Report and investigate incidents/accidents, complete risk assessments, and conduct monthly safety tours to ensure a safe working environment.
• GMP & HMP Standards: Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hygiene Manufacturing Practice (HMP) across shifts to maintain product quality and cleanliness.
• Effective Shift Handover: Oversee seamless shift handovers to minimize downtime, ensuring production targets are met consistently.
• Team Performance & Development: Manage and monitor the performance of the team, ensuring efficient achievement of production targets. Lead process improvements to boost performance and reduce waste.
• Staffing & Scheduling: Plan appropriate staffing levels to cover absences, holidays, and peak seasons, ensuring no disruption to production.
• Training & Succession Planning: Identify and address the training needs of your team, ensuring a succession plan is in place for key roles.
• Attendance & Performance Management: Monitor team attendance and ongoing performance in collaboration with HR.
• Customer Service Excellence: Assist in delivering exceptional customer service, particularly in terms of quality and service levels.
• Traceability & Compliance: Utilize IT programmes to ensure full traceability and maintain an audit-ready, compliant factory environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and legislation.
• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Hygiene Manufacturing Practice (HMP).
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and implement improvements.
• Ability to manage staffing and schedules, especially during peak times.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
