Position: Forklift Operator (Counterbalance – B1 OR B2)
Location: TW6 2GW
Pay rate: £13.50 p/h to £29.56 p/h
Day Shifts: 4 on 2 off, 08:00AM to 16:30PM, 16:00PM to 00:30AM
Night Shift: 4 on 2 off, 20:00PM to 04:30AM
ARNL have an exciting opportunity for Forklift Operator! If you have a counterbalance Forklift license with warehouse experience, we would like to hear from you!
As a Forklift Operator you will receive:
- £13.50 p/h for day shifts and £14.50 p/h night shifts for the first 12 weeks, £16.12 p/h after 12 weeks.
- Premium overtime rates after 12 weeks, £22.17 p/h between Monday to Friday and £29.56 p/h for Weekends.
- Free Cargo Operative Training.
To be successful for this Forklift Operator position:
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence
- Minimum 6 month experience using counterbalance forklift.
- Ability to load and unload parcels between 15kg to 25kg.
- Be prepared to work in a manual environment.
- Provide 5 year referenceable history
Forklift Operator duties will include:
- Using forklift to load and unload air freight cargo pallets to and from vehicles.
- Build and break down aircraft pallets and store in warehouse racks.
- Build cargo onto aircraft units to airline specifications.
- Scanning cargo and completion of airfreight documentation.
- Performing other warehouse duties when required.
Forklift Operator will be subject to:
- A 5-year check-able reference history for vetting purpose.
- A clear DBS (Criminal Record Check).
- Proficiency in numeracy and literacy, alongside the ability to pass DfT Cargo Operative Training.
