Our client is looking for an Operations Assistant in Woolston, Warrington, with a salary of £28,000 to £29,000 per year.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Covering multiple aspects of the business: HSQE, Fleet, Plant/Equipment & Purchasing.
  • Updating and tracking company spreadsheets and documents.
  • Tracking servicing/maintenance dates in line with the plant list and vehicle list.
  • Updating company training matrix to ensure operatives are correctly set up.
  • Responding to emails received in a timely manner.
  • Assisting the HSQE manager.
  • Tracking operatives' accreditations.
  • Adding details of purchase orders to the company PO list.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A strong communicator with organisational and administration skills.
  • Proficient in IT skills with the Microsoft Office package.
  • Accurate and has an eye for detail.
  • A team player.
  • Able to solve problems on their own initiative.
  • Friendly and motivated.
  • Able to multi-task.

Knowledge of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 is desirable but not essential. Experience in planning, scheduling & raising permits is preferred.

This is a permanent opportunity. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm (1 hour unpaid break). The rate of pay is £28,000 to £29,000 per year.
