Whitehall Resources require a Teradata Engineer to work with a key client on a 6 month initial contract.

*Inside IR35.

*This role will involve on site work in London 2 days per week.

Teradata Engineer

Role description:
As a Senior Teradata engineer, primary objective will be to work on the Transformation of Commercial Banking Data Warehouse to GCP.

Key responsibilities:
* Hands-on working with Teradata and other Datawarehouses.
* Implementation of Teradata utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, Multiload, TPT etc.) for efficient Data loading.
* Transformation of Teradata in GCP.

Key skills/knowledge/experience:
* Hands-on experience working with Teradata and other Datawarehouses.
* Deep expertise in Teradata architecture, star schema, snowflake schema, SQL optimization, and Data Modelling.
* Experience in implementation of Teradata utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, Multiload, TPT etc.) for efficient Data loading.
* Expertise in Teradata utilities Viewpoint, Query Grid, TD Stats, and TDWM.
* Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and ETL processes.
* Experience with Teradata performance tuning, workload management (TASM), and partitioning strategies.
* Experience with Teradata in GCP.
