About the opportunity:
We are looking for a Digital Product Manager with a highly commercial background, who will be responsible for coordinating and delivering tech initiatives, ensuring they align with business needs.
This role will:
- Oversee the execution of our internal digital platform to improve workflow automation for the Product team.
- Manage the roadmap and development of digital platform and GT App, ensuring it enhances customer engagement.
- Act as the liaison between tech and other departments, ensuring projects stay on track and are effectively implemented.
- Work closely with our remote tech team, ensuring priorities are clear and execution is efficient.
This role does not require setting a company wide tech strategy but will ensure short and medium term projects are successfully delivered while laying the groundwork for future improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Strategy- Coordinate and shape the vision and roadmap for our internal digital platform, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Manage the development and roll out of the Golf Traveller application.
- Translate company objectives into a structured, measurable roadmap with clear milestones and success metrics.
- Ensure the platform integrates seamlessly with key business functions over time.
- Own the adoption strategy to get the product team actively using the platform as soon as possible.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials and documentation for the internal digital platform, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with both technical developments and user needs.
- Move the roadmap from a list of priorities into a structured delivery plan with realistic timelines and dependencies.
- Establish processes for tracking progress, measuring usability, and iterating on platform improvements.
- Drive accountability for cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring the tech team and dependent teams deliver their components on time.
- Identify usability and adoption blockers and lead efforts to resolve them.
- Manage and oversee the remote tech team, including our current Tech Lead and two developers in Indonesia.
- Assess and improve the performance of the Tech team and identify if further technical resources are required.
- Ensure our development capacity scales effectively, coordinating the hire of additional developers as needed by the business.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Drive the transition toward a more integrated and scalable tech ecosystem for the company.
About You
- Proven experience in Product Management or Digital Project Leadership (ideally in a scaling business).
- Strong track record of building and executing roadmaps that align tech with business goals.
- Experience managing remote engineering teams and tech leads.
- Ability to quickly grasp the nuances of a new business environment, understanding its core objectives, positioning, and market dynamics.
- Engage with internal stakeholders across departments (Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations) to map out their distinct needs and challenges.
- Develop a deep understanding of user personas, ensuring technical solutions align with the workflows and priorities of both internal teams and external customers.
- Translate complex technical challenges into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technology, business impact, and strategic goals.
- Continuously evaluate and refine technical initiatives to ensure they contribute to scalability, operational efficiency, and customer experience improvements.
- Experience in driving adoption of new products within an organisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior leadership.
- Experience in travel tech, itinerary planning, or golf (player or spectator) is a bonus but not required.
- 3-5 years previous experience.
- Strong organisational skills and granular attention to detail.
- Analytical minded.
- Ability to work autonomously when required.
- Creativity, ambition & motivation to succeed.
