Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Auditor with a focus on IT and Cyber Security. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, working across a broad range of complex assignments within the IT sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in performing risk-based audit reviews, identifying and remediating issues in business processes and internal governance frameworks. This position is based in Solihull.
What you'll do:
- Execute high quality and in-depth audit assignments
- Perform ad-hoc projects and investigations
- Identify and remediate issues in business processes and internal governance frameworks
- Work under guidance from senior team members to deliver assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Establish good relationships with auditees to ensure high quality of audit service
- Contribute to the maintenance and development of data analytics tools and methodologies used by the team
What you bring:
- Professional qualification related to performing IT and Cyber Security audits in the banking/finance industry
- Proven experience in IT and Cyber Security risks and controls
- Strong analytical skills including ability to understand quickly critical steps in a process
- Good people management skills with ability to set individual objectives and manage performance

- Computer literacy with good knowledge of standard computer software
