Are you ready to take the next step in your electrical engineering career? Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong UK and international presence, is seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join their thriving Oxford office.
About the Role:
As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you'll play a key role in leading and delivering innovative building services design across a wide range of sectors, including Data Centres, commercial, healthcare, education, science & tech, and more. You'll manage projects from concept to completion, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality, sustainable engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design for building services projects through all RIBA stages
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams
- Mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to team development
- Liaise with clients, attend meetings, and provide technical guidance
- Ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and sustainability goals
- Oversee quality control and project delivery within time and budget constraints
About You:
- Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Chartered Engineer or working towards CEng (IET or similar)
- Proven experience in a consultancy or building services environment
- Strong technical background in electrical systems design (lighting, LV distribution, fire alarm, data, etc.)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and Amtech
