Blue Legal is partnering with a national law firm to recruit a talented Business Development Executive to join their dynamic Marketing & Business Development team for their IP & Media sector. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative, forward-thinking firm known for its strong values and inspiring client base.
The Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and credential materials; track win/loss rates and maintain a central database.
- Support the submission process for legal directories across all relevant categories.
- Contribute to sector-specific marketing initiatives including research, event coordination, and digital campaigns.
- Help manage a new business pipeline by researching prospects and identifying opportunities for profile-raising and cross-selling.
- Support client development initiatives by providing insights, analysis, and client intelligence.
- Plan and execute events in line with group strategies, manage logistics, and provide post-event analysis.
- Assist with the production and updating of marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, website content, and award entries.
- Maintain and update CRM data for key clients and prospects.
The Candidate:
- 2โ3 yearsโ experience in a business development or marketing role within legal
- A broad understanding of business development with a particular interest in pursuing BD-focused projects.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, both independently and within a team structure.
