Blue Legal are partnering with a leading law firm who are recruiting for two Business Development Executives to join their London office. Supporting two of their biggest practice areas, you will contribute to day-to-day activities, support senior team members on key projects, and collaborate with colleagues across the wider business development function. This role offers broad exposure to a wide range of business development and marketing disciplines.
The Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of practice area and marketing plans, supporting fee earners with client, target, and intermediary activities.
- Assist with pitches, credentials capture, legal directory submissions, and the review of marketing data and analytics.
- Conduct market and competitor research and support client mapping exercises.
- Coordinate internal communications, support marketing campaigns, and collaborate on seminars, events, and PR initiatives.
- Develop and maintain practice area materials, support profile-raising activities, and help leverage thought leadership, including LinkedIn support.
- Produce newsletters and client alerts, manage mailing lists, monitor engagement, and ensure all materials adhere to brand and house-style standards.
The Candidate:
- 2β4 yearsβ marketing/BD experience in professional services, confidence working with senior stakeholders, and an interest in developing strong practice area understanding.
- Proactive and persuasive approach, strong communication and influencing abilities, excellent attention to detail, and effective teamwork.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives, challenge constructively, and support continuous improvement.
