Our client is revolutionising the UK’s medical cannabis industry by providing a consistent, high-quality supply of cannabis-based medicines. They operate a state-of-the-art growing facility, processing environment, and laboratory, all designed to meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
Continuing to expand their operations, we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Analytical Scientist to join our expert team based in Southwest England. In this role you will ensure their products meet the highest standards by utilising your analytical expertise for QC, method development and quantification.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Conducting accurate and efficient analytical tests to support production schedules.
- Developing and validating analytical methods, particularly with HPLC and GC-MS instrumentation.
- Ensuring the laboratory and all analytical activities are compliant with GMP standards.
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance workflows and troubleshoot challenges.
To be considered for this position we are looking for candidates who have / are:
- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Experience developing and validating analytical methods on GC-MS instrumentation.
- Experience in a GxP regulated laboratory is desirable.
- A proactive and detail-oriented scientist with a passion for precision, innovation, and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
