For Companies SR2 are currently looking for a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer for financial services start-up company.
Location: Fully remote (London based office).
Salary: ÂŁ75,000 – 90,000.
Key responsibilities:
// Work with the data & software engineering team to help deliver key projects on time.
// Ensure all data, gathered from multiple sources, is accurate, organised and ready to use.
// Design, implement and maintain the company\’s data architecture and infrastructure.
// Analyse, implement, test and deliver robust data models, pipelines and workflows.
// Design and optimise scalable pipelines, ensuring data pipelines can handle large volumes
of data and scale as the company\’s data grows
// Assure that data is cleansed, mapped, transformed and optimised for storage and querying according to business and technical requirements.
// Implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines to improve efficiency and quality of data processing.
// Work with stakeholders to understand all data needs in business and resolve them were appropriate.

Ideal background:
// Strong experience with building data pipelines in the cloud (AWS).
// Excellent programming skills in Python.
// SQL/NoSQL database management systems (PostgresSQL, MongoDB).
// Familiar with BigQuery, Snowflake, Firebolt and/or Amazon (preferred).
// Ability to work on messy, complex real-world data challenges.
// Knowledge of BI Tools (Looker, Tableau or Power BI).
// Experience with ML Libraries would be a big plus!
// Experience working in finance previous would be beneficial but not essential.
