My client is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to lead the design, maintenance, and expansion of our carrier-grade network. Reporting to the Network Manager, you will be a technical expert capable of resolving complex faults and managing end-to-end project delivery. This hybrid role combines individual contributions, team leadership, and collaboration with key stakeholders., * Lead and deliver network projects, from planning to optimization, ensuring SLA thresholds are met.

Act as the final escalation point for complex network issues and provide technical mentorship to junior team members.

Design, maintain, and optimize the network, enhancing performance, security, and reliability.

Document network designs, troubleshooting procedures, and migration strategies.

Collaborate with stakeholders to complete projects and perform out-of-hours work as required.

Cisco core network experience, preferably in Altnet broadband.

Expertise in Cisco ASR, NCS devices, and Firepower models

Experience with PON infrastructure.

Comprehensive knowledge of key technologies: BGP, OSPF/ISIS, IPv6, MPLS, and VPNs.

Proven experience with network monitoring tools, project delivery, and technical documentation.
