Are you a passionate creative who loves storytelling through visual design? We are on the lookout for a friendly and innovative graphic designer to join our dynamic team! You will be responsible for conceptualising and producing innovative graphic solutions across multiple platforms including digital, print, and branding. You will be working closely with our interior and web design team to develop eye-catching graphics for various platforms, ensuring our designs resonate with our clients. Responsibilities

  • Based on a client brief, convert a business concept into a graphic identity.
  • Present design concepts and ideas to team members and clients for feedback and approval.
  • Roll out developed concept across all aspects of the clients' business including packaging, uniforms and vehicle decals.
  • Create visually engaging graphics for digital platforms including websites, social media, apps and email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements and develop design concepts accordingly.
  • Produce print-ready artwork such as brochures, price lists and menus.
  • Collaborate with the interior team to use brand assets, icons & textures within the interior design along with an understanding of how to convert a logo and sub logos into signage.
  • Collaborate with programmers and developers, displaying familiarity with web design principles and the ability to create responsive designs.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all design projects by adhering to guidelines you create.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance design skills and product offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and styles.
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Proficient in web design software such as Figma.
  • Proficient in Motion Graphics software such as After Effects and Cinema 4D.
  • Ability to create original illustrations for various projects, including digital and print materials is welcomed but not necessary.
  • Strong understanding of design principles including layout, typography, scale, colour theory, and branding.
  • A passion for storytelling through visuals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Motivated when working solo on projects or out of the office.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for aesthetics.
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs.

The role is part-time at the moment with a possibility of moving to full-time hours in the future. Currently, you will have the option to work remotely or from the office in Blanefield, Glasgow.
