The Peninsula London is pleased to announce that we are seeking Events Team Leader - Beverage (Banqueting Casuals) to support the Events team with all activities pertaining to the successful set-up and service of conferences and events at The Peninsula London. With events spaces that impress and inspire, offering lavish business lunches, banquets, and dinners to suit all manner of events. Delectable British, International, and Cantonese cuisine is being created for every type of event.

Key Accountabilities:- Ability to set up events including checking the physical layout of the room and delivering an event to the agreed standards.
- Ability to introduce and communicate directly to individual hosts, reviewing details and making themselves accessible to the host for any need that may arise.
- Handle, or relay to managers all feedback and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Perform a friendly yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests.
- Possess a good knowledge of food and beverage with a strong understanding, passion, and some experience within Conferences and Events preferred.
- Good communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, highly adaptable, naturally positive.
- Flexibility and capability of working under pressure.
