The Role: Meter Reader Operatives
Working Week: Monday to Friday
Overtime: Available on Weekends (Sat & Sun)
Duration: Temp to Perm after 15 weeks
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week - working hours between 8am-8pm.
Pay/Hourly Rate: £12.60 per hour
Job Brief: Using your own vehicle (with business insurance - simple process) to drive to a local destination. Once arriving at said local destination, you will have pre-mapped out locations to visit. Arrive at marked locations, knock on doors and make the residents aware you are checking their Meter Readers. Take the meter readings from residential properties and enter the data on your tablet/phone. Move to another marked property - when completed local area, travel to the next & repeat.
The best part about this position is, no experience needed! You will be provided with the right equipment and PPE for the job too!
All we need from you is the following:
- DBS Checked - Pertemps can DBS check you if no prior DBS in place.
- Have your own driving licence.
- Have less than 6 points.
- Be able to sort your own business insurance.
