We are seeking a Senior Enforcement Officer – Housing to play a crucial role in ensuring our legal duties are fulfilled in relation to houses in multiple occupation within the private rented sector. This position is ideal for someone with significant enforcement experience who is competent, high performing, self-motivated, and can thrive in a busy team environment.
Day-to-day of the role:

Process HMO license applications and conduct compliance checks within licensed HMOs.

Enforce management regulations across all HMOs, including civil penalty and prosecution actions for non-compliance.

Perform HHSRS inspections and assessments predominantly within HMOs in the private rented sector.

Maintain an online register of housing licenses.

Liaise effectively with residents, customers, and partners, addressing their concerns and fostering cooperative relationships.

Significant enforcement experience in a relevant discipline, with a proven track record of securing compliance and successful enforcement outcomes.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
