The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
Working at HMS Cambria in the Candidate Processing Centre as part of the team conducting medical examinations for new recruits. Your work will be to take all vitals for any candidates and then processing the results ready for handover to the GP’s at site to conduct a full medical examination. All vitals will be checked along with taking bloods (Phlebotomy training will be given if required)
Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Welcome and prepare patients for medical examination

Measure and record preliminary health checks (e.g. Blood Pressure, Temperature, Pulse, Urinalysis, Peak flow)

Prepare and maintain examination rooms ensuring they are clean and well stocked

Provide chaperone support where required

Ensure preliminary health checks are recorded utilising internal IT systems

Adhere to relevant healthcare policies and procedures

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations

Maintain infection control guidelines to ensure a safe environment

Basic Life Support (BLS)
-
Healthcare assistant Band 2 and/or Band 3 or qualified in a similar role with NVQ level 2 or 3

Previous experience in an outpatient/occupational healthcare setting preferable

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Phlebotomy experience preferred but training will be provided if necessary
