We are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our Avonmouth-based team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to develop their career within a reputable main dealer environment. You will play a key role in maintaining HGVs to the highest standards, ensuring reliability and safety while delivering a high level of service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs to manufacturer standards.
- Carry out diagnostics and fault finding using industry-standard tools and techniques.
- Ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes and quality standards.
- Follow warranty procedures and maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
- Work collaboratively with the parts team to ensure correct replacement parts are fitted.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic in a dealership or workshop environment (preferred).
- Level 3 technical qualifications in HGV maintenance and repair.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
