About the Role
Valoris Group Limited is partnering with a growing company to recruit an experienced EICR Testing & Inspection Electrician. This role is ideal for an electrician with strong expertise in electrical inspections, testing, and fault resolution within commercial environments. You will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), identifying faults, ensuring full compliance with industry regulations, and carrying out necessary repairs and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct EICR inspections on commercial electrical systems, producing detailed reports.
- Diagnose electrical faults and perform corrective maintenance or repairs.
- Ensure compliance with the latest electrical safety regulations and industry standards.
- Advise clients on the condition and safety of their electrical systems.
- Work independently or as part of a team on commercial and industrial projects.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Proven track record in electrical testing, inspection, and reporting (EICRs).
Qualifications: 2391 Inspection & Testing (preferred) or willingness to obtain.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, regulations, and compliance.
Skills: Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility: Valid UK driving licence with a willingness to travel.
Salary & Benefits Package
Base Salary: 36,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Overtime: Time-and-a-half for extra hours (potential 13,500+ per year)
Working Away Bonus: 40 per night (estimated 960 per year)
Callouts: 50 per callout + double rate door-to-door (estimated 4,160 per year)
KPI Bonus Scheme: Additional earnings based on performance
Holidays: 21 days + bank holidays (rising by one day per year, capped at 25)
Company Van & Fuel Card: Personal mileage allowed
Company Mobile, Uniform & PPE Provided
Overnight Stays: Accommodation covered when working away
Out-of-Hours Callouts: Paid at double time + 50 per callout
