About the Role - EYFS Room Leader

As an EYFS Room Leader, you will take on a key leadership role within the classroom, ensuring a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children with autism and additional needs. This is a full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) position based in Chelsea, London, where you will support both children's development and the wider staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and plan engaging activities to promote Early Years learning and development.
  • Oversee safeguarding policies, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Support and mentor staff to deliver a high-quality learning experience.
  • Work closely with ABA specialists and Early Years educators to tailor support for each child.
  • Ensure the classroom environment is organised, safe, and inclusive.
  • Maintain a high standard of safety, security, and hygiene.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Minimum Level 5 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven leadership experience in an Early Years setting (e.g., Room Lead).
  • Experience working with children with autism or SEND.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS policies and safeguarding.
