Driver Hire Edinburgh West are currently recruiting for ad hoc HGV drivers (Class 1, Class 2, 7.5t) for many of our clients based in the West of Edinburgh & West Lothian areas. We have many clients who reach out for support during their busy periods. Many of which have started now.

Job roles can include a-b vehicle movement or deliveries/collections of various products including steel products, office furniture, food & drinks deliveries, building & construction products, the list goes on. Immediate starts available.

Rate of pay (PAYE with holidays accrued): from £13p/h - £15p/h.

To be successful in this role, we ask that applicants have:

  • Held the appropriate licence (C1, C, C+E) for a minimum of 1 year
  • A full valid CPC & Digi tacho card
  • A minimum of 1 year experience
  • No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
  • No IN, DD, DR or CD endorsements
  • A flexible approach to work
  • Excellent customer service skills
